Rooted in Kigali

Flair Du Bois is a Rwandan furniture, woodwork and interior design company. We make wooden pieces for homes, offices and hospitality spaces, and we try to make each one as good to live with as it is to look at.

It started with a simple belief: furniture should do its job well, and it should also lift the room it stands in.

Made by hand

Every piece is made by hand in our workshop in Kimihurura, Kigali. Our makers cut, join, sand and finish each piece themselves, so the same people who build your table can tell you exactly how it was made.

Working this way takes longer than a factory line. It also means we can check every joint and every surface before a piece leaves us.

Made to last

We care about quality, about sustainability and about the people we make for. That means choosing good timber, building with joinery that holds up to daily use, and finishing pieces so they can be cared for and refreshed for years.

Made for you

Much of what we make is built to order. If you have a particular size, wood or finish in mind, we can draw it with you and make it in the workshop. Our interior design team can also help you plan a single room or a whole home.

Pictures only tell you so much about wood. Visit our showroom in Kimihurura to see the pieces, feel the finishes and talk to the people who make them. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm.
